BBC Good Food & Festive Shows Update

Having a stand at both the BBC Good Food Show in Birmingham and the Festive Good Food Show at Earls Court enabled us to meet existing Billington’s customers and gave us the opportunity to meet new customers and talk to them about the benefits of using Billington’s Unrefined sugars.

On the stand we sampled our fudge made with Light Muscovado sugar, which received a great reception from all who tried it. In fact, many came back for more! Visitors also jumped at the opportunity to join the Billington’s Club with the chance to win a holiday to Mauritius and our recipe cards were as popular as ever!

We were lucky enough to sponsor 2 cookery demonstrations in the ‘Friends for Dinner’ theatre with top celebrity chef Lesley Waters, where she mentioned the benefits of using the finest ingredients in your cooking and baking, and in the case of sugar....this meant Billington’s!

We were official sugar supplier for both events enabling us to get our sugars into all the theatres, so for most of the live demonstrations the chefs will have been using Billington’s sugars.

Thank you to everyone who visited us at our stand. It was lovely to meet you all and chat about the show and of course our sugars! We hope you enjoyed meeting the team, sampling our Light Muscovado fudge and hope we keep you busy over the next few months experimenting with our recipe cards.
