Ham & Sweetcorn Wholemeal Pizza

Ingredients
200g (7 oz) Allinson’s plain wholemeal flour
1½ teaspoons Allinson’s easy bake yeast
½ tablespoon dried mixed herbs
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 tablespoons ready made tomato and herb pizza topping
1 small orange pepper, sliced
½ x 198g can sweet corn, drained
2 slices ham, cut into strips
85g (3 oz) grated mature Cheddar cheese

Makes a 30cm (12in) pizza, serves 2 children:

Put the Allinson’s plain wholemeal flour, Allinson’s easy bake yeast, dried mixed herbs and salt in a large bowl and mix together. Stir in the olive oil and 100ml (3½fl oz) – 125ml (4fl oz) luke warm water, mix together adding more luke warm water if needed to form a soft dough. Turn out the dough onto a well floured surface and knead for approximately 3-4 minutes until the dough is quite smooth. Roll out the dough to a 30cm (12in) circle and place on a lightly floured baking sheet and cover with a clean tea towel and leave to rise in a warm place for 30-40 minutes until slightly risen. Preheat the oven to 220C, 200C fan, Gas 7. Spread the pizza topping on the pizza base, leaving about 1cm around the edge. Spread out evenly over the base the pepper, sweet corn and ham and finish with the grated Cheddar cheese. Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes until the cheese has melted and the pizza is cooked.
