Turkish Coffee
According to an old Turkish proverb, "coffee should be as black as hell, as strong as death, and as sweet as love." This intense coffee is fantastic spiced with cardamom or cinnamon.
Ingredients
4 heaped teaspoon Turkish or medium roasted fine ground coffee
4 heaped teaspoons Billingtons Unrefined Demerara sugar or coffee crystals
4 cups water (use a cup you will use to serve the coffee as a measure)
Cardamom pods or a cinnamon stick (optional)

Place all the ingredients in a small pan and bring to the boil over a low heat. Remove from the heat, stir briskly and return to the heat. Bring to the boil again and boil for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and pour into the cups. Serve immediately.
