Golden Granulated
The natural alternative to white sugar. Light, dry and free-flowing, it should be used in tea, on cereals and fresh fruits and in jam, marmalade and wine-making. Makes a cheesecake special.
Demerara
With its distinctive aroma and crunchy texture, Demerara is the traditional accompaniment to coffee. Its large, sparkling crystals also make it the ideal topping for cakes, biscuits and puddings. Delicious too, when used on porridge and grilled grapefruit.
Sugar Crystals for coffee
Coffee Crystals are large, deep, golden crystals with a distinctive but subtle flavour. In coffee they dissolve gradually, allowing you to enjoy the full flavour of coffee with a subtle sweetness and no added caramel. They also make a versatile topping for cakes, biscuits, premium ice-creams and crumble dishes.
Golden Caster
Billington's Golden Caster is a light, fine-grained, free-flowing sugar with a subtle buttery taste. Unrefined Golden Caster should be used in place of white caster sugar as its golden colour is perfect for meringues, cakes and biscuits.
Golden Icing
Golden Icing is a powdered unrefined sugar and has a rich golden colour and mellow toffee flavour. Perfect for all dustings, icings, butter creams, meringues and in tart pastry.
Light Brown Soft
Unrefined Light Brown Soft Sugar should be used in place of refined light brown soft sugar. Its rounded flavour and light colour makes it ideal for baking cakes, biscuits and tea breads.
Light Muscovado
The ultimate light brown soft sugar with a warm honey colour and a glorious fudgy flavour. It is unsurpassed in butterscotch and tomato sauces, tiramisu, ice-creams, banana and passion cakes and mulled wines.
Dark Muscovado
Dark Muscovado is the ultimate dark brown sugar, with a sticky texture, toffee flavour and rich aroma. Adds an extra depth of flavour to marinades, sweet and sour sauces, chillies, chutneys, and all chocolate-based recipes.
Molasses Sugar
Molasses Sugar is the darkest sugar of all. This unique sugar contains the highest amount of natural molasses, resulting in an extra rich flavour and moistness. Perfect for Christmas cakes and puddings, mincemeat, rich fruit cakes and preserves. Excellent for ethnic cookery and barbecue dishes.
Organic Unrefined Granulated
Is the organic unrefined alternative to white refined sugar. Light, dry and free-flowing with a subtle golden colour, it should be used wherever you would use white granulated sugar. Perfect in tea, on cereals, and sprinkled on fresh fruits.
Organic Unrefined Caster
Is a light, fine-grained, free-flowing sugar with a subtle buttery taste. It should be used in place of white caster sugar where its golden colour is perfect for adding a new dimension to all baking applications. Organic Unrefined Caster Sugar is the perfect sugar for all your organic baking.
Organic Unrefined Demerara
Is rich and deep golden in colour, with a coarser crystal. It is the traditional sweetener for coffee to complement the wide range of organic coffees now available.
