Perfect Porridge

The perfect winter warmer, this is porridge with a whole new burst of flavour and a little crunch. A great start to chilly days.

  1. Put the oats in a saucepan with the milk. Bring to the boil and continue to simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to stop it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
  2. Serve with chopped nuts, demerara sugar, chia seeds and chopped figs. Enjoy.
