Mix your Billington’s Unrefined Golden Icing Sugar with the ground cinnamon; evenly distribute the spice through the sugar.
Cut the fruit in half and dust the cut sides with the icing sugar.
Place on the BBQ or griddle pan and char for around 5 minutes. This will give you delicious rich and crunchy caramelisation to the fruits.
Delicious served with ice-cream or you can make a zingy cream to cut through the fruit by whipping 100ml double cream, 125ml mascarpone, juice and zest of one lime, and a tsp of Billington’s Golden Caster Sugar. Beat until smooth and serve alongside the warm fruits.
